Profile

The ambition of speaking fluently different foreign languages has always been my top personal challenge and achievement, together with a lively interest in different cultures and the pursuit of stimulating contacts with people of other countries.
I am a freelance translator, consultant and interpreter.
I do both technical, literary and business translations from and into English, French, German, Spanish and Italian.
My business as adviser, translator and interpreter consists mainly of marketing in the tourist, teaching and organizational fields.

Education and qualification

Bachelor Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures received with first class honours from Siena University, Department of Literature and Philosophy (Languages: Spanish and German).
Linguistic High School graduation (received with full marks from High School Toniolo, Siena, languages: French, English and German).

Foreign studies in the mentioned languages (in Germany: courses by the Fakultät für Linguistik und Literaturwissenschaft in Bielefeld as well as by the Europäische Sommerakademie in Weimar and by the Sprachschule Kapito in Münster-Westfalen; in England: Proficiency Certificate in English received from Cambridge University).

I work both for private sector and companies, particularly in the field of tourism and rural tourism, mainly as linguistic adviser and translator, as well as foreign marketer for these companies in different countries.
I also provide for linguistic assistance and interpreting to the foreign customers.
